MS Auto Repairs is owned and managed by qualified mechanical engineer Mark Souch and his partner Kim Pickett and has been going for just under 10 years. Tucked away at the end of a side road on Clovelly Road Industrial Estate, this isn't the kind of garage that picks up passing trade, and the fact that they have a lot of loyal customers is testimony to the service and standards they offer. All of Marks small team of mechanics are trained, and Mark himself bought the garage after doing Mechanical Engineering at Petroc, an apprenticeship at Peugeot, and then a stint as a mobile mechanic. He has an Institute of the Motor Industry ( IMI) Award, which tests the current competence of individuals working in the retail automotive industry, who are committed to an ethical code of conduct. With the increasing complexity and sophistication of vehicles and a shortage of skilled individuals, there has never been a greater need for competent technicians. MS Autos are also part of the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair and are assessed annually under that scheme, as well as being VOSA approved to carry out MOTs.
